Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The Urban Gala ("TUG", "we", "us") operates a marketplace that lets you discover and purchase tickets to live events organised by us or by third-party organisers (each, an "Organiser"). For event-specific questions, the Organiser remains responsible for the event.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a ticket. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt fraud, or harm the Platform or other users.

3. Tickets & bookings

3.1 Order acceptance

A booking is confirmed only after we have received successful payment and issued an email confirmation. Until then, prices, availability, and pricing tiers (e.g. Early Bird) can change without notice.

3.2 Your ticket

Each ticket grants entry to one (1) person for the specified event, unless stated otherwise. Tickets are personal to the named attendee and must not be resold above face value. We may invalidate tickets obtained through scalping, bots, or fraud.

3.3 Entry requirements

You may be required to present a valid photo ID matching the attendee name, your QR code, and any age verification documents at the venue. Entry is at the Organiser's discretion.

4. Pricing & payment

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying, you also agree to Razorpay's terms. We do not store your full card details.
• A non-refundable booking / payment-gateway fee may be added at checkout. The total payable is always shown before confirmation.

5. Changes, cancellations & refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In short:

• If an Organiser cancels or materially reschedules an event, you are eligible for a full refund of the ticket face value.
• If you cancel voluntarily, refunds are at the Organiser's discretion as described in the Refund Policy.
• Payment-gateway and booking fees are generally non-refundable.

6. Code of conduct at events

You agree not to:

• Carry prohibited items (weapons, drugs, outside food/drink unless allowed).
• Engage in violence, harassment, hate speech, or any unlawful behaviour.
• Record, photograph, or stream the event for commercial use without written consent from the Organiser.

Organisers and venue staff may refuse or revoke entry without refund for violations.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform, the TUG name, logo, and all related assets are owned by The Urban Gala or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or use them for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for the actions or omissions of independent Organisers, venues, or other attendees.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant ticket(s) in the 6 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Force majeure

Neither TUG nor the Organiser is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic-related restrictions, acts of government, strikes, or outages of critical third-party infrastructure.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts located in Bengaluru, India, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
